Pibare Ramarasam translation in English:

Drink the essence of the name of Rama, o tongue.

It will help you (implied) remove or be distant from association with sin or be distant from those who cause you to sin and you will be fulfilled with many types and kinds of rewards.

It will help you be far removed from the grief of the cycle of birth and death, it is the essence of all the religious treatises, the Vedas and sciences.

It protects all creation. Brahma was born of a lotus from a golden egg and then he created the whole universe. So this phrase implies that reciting Rama’s name protects the whole universe. It will purify even the most impious or heretic.

It is the pure song that signature of the poet has taken refuge in, it is the same which has been drunk by sages like Suka Saunaka and Kausika.

More information:

This is a classical song composed by Sadasiva Brahmendra. This song is commonly rendered in raga Ahir Bhairav of Indian classical music.

Sadasiva Brahmendra was a saint, a composer of Carnatic music and an Advaita philosopher who lived near Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu during the 18th century. Sadasiva Brahmendra composed primarily in Sanskrit. Only a few of his compositions have survived but they are recognized as great compositions of Carnatic Music.

He was responsible for installing the deity Punnainallur Mariamman near Thanjavur and guided the installation at Devadanapatti Kamakshi temple. Sadasiva Brahmendra was also involved in the Kalyana Venkatesa Perumal temple at Karur. In addition, he also installed the Hanuman Murthi in the Prasanna Venkateswara temple at Nalu Kal Mandapam in Thanjavur.

Sadasiva Brahmendra installed Lord Ganesh and a powerful Ganesh Yantra at the Thirunageshwaram Rahu Stalam tmple at Kumbakonam. An inscription in the temple bears testimony to this fact. The shrine can still be seen at the entrance to the temple.
