10 Kundalini Mantras With Their Meanings

Kundalini mantras are sounds, syllables, words or phrases that are believe to be capable of creating spiritual transformation. The Ppowerful mantras used in Kundalini Yoga practice have been created to modify or elevate consciousness through their meaning and rhythmical chanting. Mantra is the creative process of the mind through vibration (or sound).

It is beneficial to associate a sacred mantra to the breath. This technique helps focus the mind and strengthen the endurance during challenging spiritual exercises.

1.Guru Ram Das Mantra

This mantra relates directly to protective and healing energy represented by Guru Ram Das. This healing mantra was given to Yogi Bhajan by Guru Ram Das in His astral self. It is a mantra of relaxation, humility and self healing. It projects the mind to infinity, and opens the space to be guided from the heart and compassion.

2.Adi Shakti Mantra

Adi Shakti, Adi Shakti, Adi Shakti, Namo Namo

Sarab Shakti, Sarab Shakti, Sarab Shakti, Namo Namo

This mantra is also known as the Kundalini Bhakti mantra, which is to say, a mantra of devotion to the Kundalini, the Mother of all energies, which is the life force stored at the base of the spine.

This amazing mantras translates as the root (bija) mantra from which a spiritual foundation is built. The Siri Guru Granth Sahib is based upon the concepts of the Mul Mantra.

4.Aad Guray Nameh

Aad Guray Nameh, Jugaad Guray Nameh, Sat Guray Nameh,

Siri Guroo Dayvay Nameh

Translation:

I bow to the primal Source of Creation,

to the truth that has existed throughout the ages

This mantra is the meditation that opens the chakras for the full effect of any other mantra. It is the base of all Kundalini mantras. It is a sensitizing meditation for the impact of the inner sound current.

6.Aap Sahaee Hoa

Aap Sahaaee Hoaa, Sachay Daa Sachaa Doaa Har, Har, Har

Recite this soothing mantra for 11 to 31 minutes daily to bring the blessings of prosperity into your life. This potent mantra overcomes all challenges.

7.Sat Nam (Bij Mantra)

Sat Nam is a Kundalini Yoga mantra, which signifies „Truth is My Name”. The truth will set you free. By practicing this powerful mantra we allow our inner truth to set us free, guide us, give us confidence and peace of mind.

8.Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad – Mantra for Positivity

Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad, Sat Gur Prasad Ek Ong Kar

The mantra is said to contain the main teachings of the entire Siri Guru Granth Sahib and brings its energy to reside in the heart. Guru Nanak taught this soothing mantra to his son, Baba Siri Chand. Yogi Bhajan referred to this mantra as the “Eyes of Indra”, saying that the body is a temple through which one experiences the Infinite, all knowledge and bliss flow through you. It is considered to be the most potent mantra.

9.Ajai Alai Mantra

“Ajai Alai” mantra is used to give you divine strength and protection to overcome any obstacle. It is supposed to lift you from grief, sadness, worry, depression, loneliness, anger and re-align you with the Divine Vortex. Chant this mantra with a sincere heart whenever You feel disconnected from the Source.
